Love so DEEP!
Friday, 27th June 2015
I am grateful to God for the special Grace He has bestowed upon my life and the amazing gift He has given to me. The desire to get to know Him more grows deeper each day and He continues to show me how much he loves and cares for me. During an all-night organized by a good friend of mine I had the opportunity to encounter God in a different way I have never seen before. The gift keeps growing and He continues to blow my mind by showing me how Great and Big He is.
With this particular revelation, I saw myself ascending a flight of stairs or a ladder that looked endless but then there was a strong desire to see where that ladder would lead me. Suddenly, There was a brown door just in front of me (this door was of an average size like the ones we have in our homes), which automatically opened as soon as I stood in front of it.
The key automatically turned and opened like someone was expecting me to be there at that particular point in time. The door opening automatically signified salvation which is a free gift from God.
Ephesians 2:8
“For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited
favor) that you are saved ([a]delivered
from judgment and made partakers of
Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith.
And this [salvation] is not of yourselves
[of your own doing, it came not through
your own striving], but it is the gift of God;”
– AMP
I entered and saw a big open room with white painted walls. It looked like a new house that was yet to be furnished but I passed through a couple of similar rooms before finally entering a place that looked like a city with different buildings. Some looked like mansions; others like duplex’s and mud houses and others were bare land with no structures on it. For some, I saw angels busy building the structures and for others the angels were sitting there idle with nothing to do.
Jesus revealed to me that those were the treasures people were building in heaven, some are busy building their treasures in heaven by doing HIS work on earth (winning souls and supporting and helping in His work here on earth) while others are thinking of earthly possession.
Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not gather and heap up and
store up for yourselves treasures
on earth, where moth and rust and
worm consume and destroy, and
where thieves break through and
steal. But [b] gather and heap up and
store for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust nor worm
consume and destroy, and where thieves
do not break through and steal; for where
your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
– AMP)
Jesus wants us to be committed to heaping or storing heavenly treasures where nothing can destroy it rather than earthly possessions which will be consumed and destroyed. The devil has occupied our minds with building careers, furthering our education, acquiring wealth and becoming powerful individuals while here on earth. They are all tricks and distractions from the devil to keep us from our main focus: JESUS CHRIST.
He has succeeded in getting a lot of us to believe that winning souls and helping the church is for the “people who have been called by God”
Mark 16:15
“And He said to them, Go into
all the world and preach and
publish openly the good news
(the Gospel) to every creature
[of the whole [a]human race].”
– AMP
We forget that each and every one of us has a task and an obligation to fulfill on this earth after which we would give an account to God in heaven.
And in
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are God’s [own] handiwork
(His workmanship), [a]recreated in
Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we
may do those good works which
God predestined (planned beforehand)
for us [taking paths which He prepared
ahead of time], that we should walk in
them [living the good life which He
prearranged and made ready for us
to live].”
– AMP
This verse explains and reiterates the fact that the good works we need to do on this earth has been predestined for each and every one of us.
Thus we need to seek God daily and with the help of His Holy Spirit we will unravel these destinies and purposes which will guide our way of life. Once we get to that realization, we will automatically extend this love to others by spreading the Good News of God to bring glory to his name. This message can get to others when we use our God-given gifts to serve others and not just ourselves.
These gifts which he freely gave to us and with the help of the Holy Spirit can help us fulfill and accomplish all we have to do here on earth.
1 Peter 4:10-11
“God has given each of you a gift from
his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use
them well to serve one another. Do you
have the gift of speaking? Then speak as
though God himself were speaking
through you. Do you have the gift of
helping others? Do it with all the strength
and energy that God supplies. Then
everything you do will bring glory to
God through Jesus Christ. All glory and
power to him forever and ever! Amen.”
– NLT
After that scene, Jesus stretched out his hand and walked beside me down the street made from gold and everything there was just spotless and blameless; perfection at its best. We walked into a really big room with angels to my right singing continuously, it was so loud and clear that it felt more like surround sound speakers at a movie theatre (but much more clearer).
Their songs were melodious and harmonious, more like a choir but this type of choir I had never heard before.
Revelations 5:11-12
“Then I looked again, and I heard
the voices of thousands and
millions of angels around the
throne and of the living beings and
the elders. And they sang in a mighty
chorus: “Worthy is the Lamb who
was slaughtered— to receive power
and riches and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing.”
– NLT
He showed me a room filled with Golden crowns engraved with gemstones like emeralds, rubies, pearls, tourmalines etc. These crowns represent the crown of glory that God will give to His people who will fulfill their call and finish their assignment on this earth.
1 Peter 5:4
“And when the Great Shepherd appears,
you will receive a crown of never-ending
glory and honor.”
– NLT
I turned to look ahead of me and to my left I saw a throne room, with three seats (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit). The seat in the middle had a presence that radiates so much glory and fire that you cannot look up to see Him. All I felt was the presence and how the fire/light filled and lit up the whole room. I could literally feel a presence that was so strong and holy that I fell to my knees.
I stood up after a while to see a pulpit in front of me and that pulpit had a big book on it. That book had MERCY engraved on it. It looked more like a solid metallic book that can never be destroyed. So Jesus opened a page for me, and on that page, it had the date 26th June 2015. On that page, the whole book had many crosses or x’s, which signified all the wrongs mankind makes in a day. The book was so big it was impossible to fill the whole page in a day even if I was asked to.
Then Jesus explained to me that, man was still going against His plans and purposes for their lives and every time man sins, a mark or cross is made in the book. But the amazing thing was that, each day had a new page opened, Jesus always started a new chapter with each and every day of our lives. His love for the whole of mankind is simply amazing and He continues to intercede on our behalf every single time.
Lamentations 3:22-23
“It is because of the Lord’s mercy
and loving-kindness that we are
not consumed, because His [tender]
compassions fail not. They are
new every morning; great and
abundant is your stability and
faithfulness.”
– AMP
He also explained how deep his love for his people is. He showed me the world and different people sinning at a particular point in time. Once we sin, God sees us as dark and dirty and would want to pour his wrath on the world but then His Son Jesus Christ, always stands in for us. So when God our Father sees his Son standing in for us, He immediately sees us as spotless and blameless before him which makes Him love us the more.
Romans 5:8
“But God shows and clearly
proves His [own] love for
us by the fact that while
we were still sinners,
Christ (the Messiah, the
Anointed One) died for us.”
– AMP
But then this love God shows us does not give us the opportunity to ‘abuse’ that Grace but rather strive (with the help of the holy spirit) to live a life pleasing in the sight of God.
Romans 6:1-4
“Well then, should we keep on sinning
so that God can show us more and more
of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not!
Since we have died to sin, how can we
continue to live in it? 3 Or have you
forgotten that when we were joined
with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined
him in his death? 4 For we died and
were buried with Christ by baptism.
And just as Christ was raised from
the dead by the glorious power of
the Father, now we also may live
new lives.”
– NLT
Jesus wants to tell you all that, He Loves Each and Every one of you EQUALLY. He continues to INTERCEDE for YOU every day and every time. HIS MERCIES are continually RENEWED EVERY SINGLE DAY of your life. All he wants from you is to occupy your mind with the things of HIS KINGDOM so you can build up treasures in heaven, which will be your eternal home. Your focus and mission is to help bring others to this LOVE that you enjoy, and also show this same LOVE when doing HIS work here on earth.
The devil is gradually shifting our attention and focus off Christ so that we will miss our mark and the crown of glory that awaits us when we get to heaven. I pray after reading this we all come to this realization and profess the love of Christ in our everyday life.
1 John 4:7-8
“Dear friends, let us continue to
love one another, for love comes
from God. Anyone who loves is a
child of God and knows God. But
anyone who does not love does
not know God, for God is love.”
– NLT
I am blessed to share this revelation with you and I pray you realize how DEEP his LOVE is towards YOU. Let the love of God abound in your heart and let your focus be on JESUS CHRIST while the HOLY SPIRIT works in and through you daily.
